No appointment for Anganwadi
The department of women and child welfare has clarified that the department has not given any notice for the appointment of volunteers for Anganwadi.
The release by the Deputy Director of the department said that number of application forms were being given in the market for the appointment of Anganwadi volunteers under the Child Development programme.
The release added that no one should take the application forms from the market.
Applications invited for 6-month course
Applications are invited from unemployed ST candidates for a six-month computer training course sponsored by the funds collected under the State-level Girijana Upyojana and special relief funds.
For the Computer Software and Certificate course, the candidates should have passed SSLC and come under the age group 18 to 25 must apply before May 5, a release from District Social Welfare Department.
MP’s absence condemned
Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samithi has condemned the absence of Bidar MP Narasingarao Suryavamshi at the 114th Dr Ambedkar jayanthi celebration which was held on April 14.
District convener Rajakumar Banner, co-ordinator Shaliwan Badiger, taluk convener of Dalit Students’ Okkoota Tukaram Kudure said in a joint press release that Suryavamshi had shown disrespect by being absent while he was present in the town.
