Foundation for Dattatraya temple to be laid in Devulganagapur

Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji of Mysore-based Ganapathi Sachidananda Ashram would be laying the foundation stone for the construction of a temple at Devulganagapur in Afzalpur taluk on Wednesday, which would be having the full idol of Lord Dattatraya.
The Swamiji arrived in Gulbarga on Tuesday, and attended a private function. Other than laying the foundation stone for the new temple, the Swamiji would also be conducting the ‘bhoomi pooja’ for the construction of the ‘Annapurna Dashoha’. Both would be constructed on a one-acre plot which has been bought by the Ashram.
The Ashram has already got constructed Lord Dattatraya temple at 16 places in the country. Other than this, it has also set up nine ‘Navanath Kshetras’ in the country for the Datta devotees.
The Ashram is also running a ‘Veda Patashaala’ at Peetapuram in Andhra Pradesh. It has established ‘Rigveda’, ‘Yajurveda’, and ‘Samaveda’ paatashaalas at Mysore, and a school for the deaf and dumb named as ‘Vagdevi’.
