China Will Be

Good Neighbour:

No Subversion

BANDUNG, April 19.

Mr Chou En-Lai, Prime Minister of China, gave a categorical assurance to the Asian-African Conference here today that China “has no intention whatsoever to subvert the governments of neighbouring countries”.

Another forthright assurance given by the Communist leader was that his government would strictly adhere to the Five Principles and have normal relations with all Asian and African countries, particularly China’s neighbours.

With Peace On

His Lips...

BANDUNG, April 19.

Albert Einstein, shortly before he died, had sent a message to India’s Prime Minister Nehru, congratulating him on his contribution towards the calling of the Asian-African Conference.

Einstein warned the world against the mortal dangers of using nuclear energy in any form.

Mysore Not To

Submit Report To Fazl Ali Body Now

BANGALORE, April 19.

It is understood that the Government of Mysore do not propose to intimate their views at present to the Fazl Ali Commission, on the question of Reorganisation of States.

This position is believed to have arisen owing to sharp differences of opinion in the Legislature Congress Party on the question of bringing all Kannada-speaking areas under one administration.
