Pakistani fishermen wave as they return to their homeland after being released from an Indian jail, at the Wagah Border Post, on Tuesday. India released 156 Pakistani fishermen, who were arrested in the past year for illegally fishing in the Indian territorial waters of the Arabian Sea, as a humanitarian gesture, which was announced during Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's India visit. Golden tapestry.... Flowers from a creeper have covered a jackfruit tree in a coffee estate at Kajur near Somwarpet in Karnataka, attracting a large number of people. The creeper which has been green all along, flowers once in a year between March 15 and April 15. The flowers which have grown downward from the creeper last for ten days. Sharada Mandanna, owner of the estate though, has no idea about the creeper’s name or its origin. DH photo
