The Communist Party of India (CPI) and the All-India Students’ Federation (AISF) have decided to approach the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) with regard to the alleged atrocities committed by the Gulbarga police on the six KPTCL Industrial Training Centre (ITC) students who had attempted suicide at the function attended by President A P J Abdul Kalam.
