Harness the sun’s energy
Surya Jowel, founder of the Surya Yog Foundation is currently in Bangalore to deliver lectures and conduct a ‘Sun Healing’ camp free of cost throughout this month between 6.15 am to 8.00 am at KG Park, Mekhri Circle (behind Ramana Maharishi Shrine). It is aimed at people suffering from heart problems, cancer, migraine, skin problems, arthritis, mental and other problems. Sun gazing, meditation on the sun and other exercises are the techniques that are being imparted.

Nine step process

Surya Jowel is believed to teach participants to harness the energies of the Sun for good physical and mental health. He uses a nine step process starting with facing the Sun at sunrise which he says was revealed to him by ‘Masters’ during his stay in the Himalayas. He says "All good things in life are free", and adds, "Sun worship is not new. This form of nature worship has been in practice even in the ancient days. "

Solar civilisation

On April 10, a special seminar was conducted by him on the topic of "Solar Civilization" wherein he emphasized that the world would be moving towards a civilisation unified under the energy and love of the Sun called ‘SingIe-Unified-Nation’ or ’Sun’. In such a civilisation he contends that everyone is conscious of the environment and will live with active awareness of inter-relationships and dependency on the Sun based on faith, awareness and love.

The foundation’s Suryayog Women’s Empowerment, a registered charitable social service trust is designed to help the poor and needy as well as increase awareness of the need to protect Mother Nature.

‘Chidhakash Yog’

Surya Jowel also imparts a technique called ‘Chidhakash Yog’, an advanced meditation technique for seekers of spirituality. For details visit the website: www.suryayog.org or call 23418143/ 25587013.
