Govt rolls out fiscal steps to stem inflation In an effort to rein in runaway inflation, the Centre, on Tuesday, announced a slew of anti-inflationary fiscal measures including slashing of import duties on steel and skimmed milk products and imposition of export duty on wide range of steel products to contain rise in prices of essential commodities.
