Sambhajirao is the only politician from Karnataka to have made it to the mayor’s post for four terms. Recently, he was elected as corporator in the City Corporation elections.
Also known as ‘king maker’ in City Corporation, Sambhajirao is expected to lead a group of corporators to power this time, as well.
He is certain to become mayor for another couple of terms in the next five years, depending on the reservations to be announced by the government.
