No power supply today

There will be power shutdown from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday in Haragadde, Madapattna, Kambaranahalli, Rajapura, Kalbali, Gollahalli, Surjakkanahalli, Indalawadi, Thammanayakanahalli, Adoor, Soppahalli, Vaderamanchanahalli, Nosenur and surrounding areas.

Phone services to be affected

Telephone services will be affected in the Karesandra Telephone exchange region due to technical snags.

A press release issued by BSNL said that telephone services in the region will be affected from 11 pm to 5 am on May 4.

Mythic Society Centenary

The Mythic Society, Bangalore, founded in the year 1909 will be celebrating its Centenary year starting from May 4, 2008.

Renowned scientist Dr Roddam Narasimha will inaugurate the Centenary celebrations on May 4, and this will be followed by the first special lecture on “Indian Cultural History and Archaeology: A Review” by field expert Dr A Sundara.
