She is the daughter of Mathematics lecturer in Siddaganga Degree College Madhav Kaginele. Sharing her happiness with Deccan Herald, she said, “I have been working hard since the beginning and have now achieved the results. My father and my lecturers have given me all the encouragement and support,” she added.
She has already appeared for the CET exams and is waiting for the results. She prefers choosing engineering to other courses. College Principal Subbarao and other staff members have congratulated Madhuri on her achievement.
ES Srinidhi, student of Seshadripuram Composite Pre-University College (Bangalore), has secured the highest marks in the II PUC across the state.
ES Srinidhi has scored 585 of the overall 600 marks in the II PUC Commerce combination with the highest scored marks.
He has secured 100 marks in Basic maths, 99 in Statistics, 99 in Accountancy and 98 in Business Studies. Said an ecstatic Srinidhi, “I will pursue the Chartered Accountancy and have also planned to do MBA from Indian Institute of Management(IIM). I started my preparation right from day one of classes and studied for two hours per day.
I’m very happy, and expected this result”.
Savitha Gadadha, a student of S S H Jain Pre- University college, Harappanahalli, has secured the first rank in the State in the Arts stream. She scored a total of 564 marks.
The fourth child of Maribasappa and Maheshwari, resident of Kallahalli, she comes from a agricultural family. The girl travelled 6 kilometres to attend school in the neighbouring village of Mahajanadahalli and then 40 kilometres to reach Harapanahalli and attend college.
She was unable to realise her father’s dream of becoming a doctor and worked as a educator after completing her D ed. But she had a desire to be a graduate and then appear for the competitive exams.
She wants to occupy a high post in the Government and remove the financial burden that has been the bane of her family.
