Voters seek amenities
Bangalore, dhns: Voters pushed several demands before their would-be representatives in Vidhana Soudha during ‘Candidate-Voters’ Meet’ at Konanakunte on Sunday.
The event was organised by the Konanakunte Kshemabhivruddhi Sanghagala Okkuta at Soudamini Kalyana Mantapa, where the organisers tabled a long list of demands before the candidates contesting from Bangalore South constituency. Of the 10 candidates contesting election from this constituency only two - BJP’s M Krishnappa and BSP’s R Manjunath - could turn up for the event. The compere of the function B S Srinivas requested the candidates if they are elected they should look into the problems of Konanakunte area. He said potable water, proper roads, good educational institutions, hospitals are required.
In response, the BJP candidate M Krishnappa asked people to vote him so that their dreams could be materialised. The BSP candidate R Manjunath too asked people to vote him to see developmental activities in the constituency.
