Illegal liquor seized

Chikkaballapur, dhns: The Chikkaballapur rural police has seized illegal liquor worth Rs 2 lakh hidden in a dry well in Ittapanahalli on Saturday.  As many as 105 boxes were hidden in a well in an eucalyptus grove belonging to Ramappa. The boxes were covered with leaves.

Chikkaballapur, dhns: The rural police has seized 760 grams of ganja and 96 bottles of liquor in the house of Yarappa of Marasanahalli village.

The raid was led by DySP Nanaiah, Circle Inspector Shivakumar, sub-inspectors Gopal Nayak, Satyanarayan and staff including Gangaraju, Anand and Shivappa.
