He has said, Tamils in Karnataka are of the opinion that the Congress has not given them due political recognition in the State.
After holding campaign in favour of Congress candidates in areas where Tamilians are settled in large numbers, Narayanaswamy told reporters that wherever he went he was told that the Congress had neglected Tamilians.
Asked whether he would support similar representation to Kannadigas in Tamil Nadu, he said yes.
He said that wherever he went he noticed voters’ support for the Congress. “During the rule of the Congress the State attracted foreign investment to a large extent. Infrastructure development was given top priority”, he said.
