A jam packed hall of excited people and a stage occupied by Sandalwood's glitterati. This was the scene from the audio release function of the film Psycho which was held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.
The audience were certainly not disappointed with the programme which began with salsa dance being performed to the song E Tanuvu Ninnade from the film.
Prior to this music director Raghu Dixit (who incidently carried a guitar) sung Maadeshwara... and sent the crowd whistling and shouting 'once more'.
Bollywood music director Shekhar (famous as Vishal-Shekhar) was the chief guest. At the time of audio and CD release, guests multiplied leaving few identifiable faces like director Guruprasad, lyricist Nagendra Prasad and industrialist Wodeyar. Practically everyone praised Raghu for his music compositions. Going a step ahead Guruprasad said that he has always been a fan of Dixit, i.e. Madhuri Dixit but now he was also a fan of Raghu Dixit. The remark brought grin on the faces of people and claps for the orator. The song Maadeshwara... will be hit, there should be no doubts about it, said Shekhar, who left the audience craving for more by singing few lines from the song Ankhon me teri... from the movie Om Shanti Om.
There are plans to release the film in the month of June, said producer Gurudutt. Director Devadutt said that he has given opportunity to new talents in the movie and wanted every song to be a hit. He commended music director Raghu for his efforts.
Well, Raghu must have been on cloud nine when Naveen from the Swarna Audio said that it was because of him that he agreed to release the audio. Incidently the function was also organised by Naveen.
