UK's Capital One shifting jobs to India  
British credit card bank Capital One has announced plans to axe 750 jobs as part of its move to shift more of its operations to India and other low-cost countries.

Govt says no advance pricing pact for now  
The Finance Ministry, on Wednesday, ruled out introduction of Advance Pricing Agreement programme for deciding tax liability of the companies in advance in the near future, saying that in the absence of an institutional mechanism such system would not be effective.

UK-based US$150 million Pavers England Footprints Limited (PEFL), on Wednesday, announced its foray into the Indian footwear market, with the launch of its Pavers and Italian Fly Flot brands.
Exports to touch $500 b, says CII  
Country's exports are likely to reach the 500 billion dollar mark in the next five years but the focus should be on the labour-oriented sectors so that benefits of growth trickle down to the low-income groups, Confederation of Indian Industry has projected.
