Plea against BDA plan

The High Court on Monday admitted a PIL by Citizens’ Action Forum challenging BDA’s Revised Master Plan - 2015 and related zoning regulations for the City. The Forum has contended, the plan will affect the City’s planned development owing to the provision for new zones in residential areas and reduction in green belt areas.

Senior citizen found

The Elders Helpline has asked members of the public to inform the office of Police Commissioner on the background of a 80-year-old woman, identified as Puttamma. A release says the woman was found in Vijayanagar police station limits recently. She is not able to recall details of her address or telephone numbers. She has been shifted to an old age home. ‘Suvarna’ service from today

BMTC will begin operations of its ‘Suvarna Peak Hour’ services from Tuesday. The service will be operated from 7.30 am to 11.30 am and from 4.30 to 8.30 pm with limited routes. BMTC will introduce a monthly commuter pass for the Suvarna buses from May 2008. It will operate on 20 routes from Kempegowda Bus Station to various localities.
