The first game of IPL is scheduled to take place on April 18, and the cricket fans will witness a visual extravaganza of a never-matched scale. The inaugural day ceremony is tipped to have a combination of international artists and Bollywood stars, along with all the glitz and glamour that has accompanied the league game.

The event will have an acrobat show, performances by stilt walkers, bubble dancers and rappers, all dressed in the eight team colours and performing dizzying stunts and dances, which will be a visual sight for fans. Cheer leaders of the famous National Football League, America will also be performing on the opening day. They have been brought in to cheer the Royal Challengers, Bangalore team. A laser show with high-powered lasers and a mega fireworks display are the other highlights of the show.

Bollywood stars from Katrina Kaif to Zayed Khan to franchisee like Shahrrukh will add to the glamour quotient on the inaugural show along with local stars Upendra and Ramya, besides a musical treat by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. So, cricket fans can look forward to an international-style show full of opulence, before settling down to watch their favourite teams battle it out on the ground.
