EPIC not ready
The election officer had in a release stated that the process of issuing election photo identity card (EPIC) would begin on April 15 all over the taluk.
In this period those whose names are in the voters list and who do not have their photos in the identity card and those who have lost their EPICs may get their ID cards by going to the respective voting centres in their places, said the release.
However, even after five days of the release, the photo session nor the voters card is being given.
Though hundreds of people are going daily to the voting centres they are not getting proper information.
As the election officer has still not given a proper reply to this problem, the public are in a quandary.
