Bachchan-Shotgun pairing has survived 37 years in the cans
Maharaja Features
Bollywood delayed is not always Bollywood denied. And to prove this, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha will be seen together on screen, after a gap of 28 years in a film that was shot in 1971.

Yaar Meri Zindagi which was shot by Ashok Gupta in 1971 has survived years of lying coiled up in the cans, litigation, and financial  hurdles. Now, with a court case between director and financier finally ending, a fresh print has been made by dubbing the negatives. The film will released this month.

Audiences may also see Raj Kapoor and Ashok Kumar come alive on screen after 25 years.  Deepak Raval, the producer and assistant director of the film Chor Madali, has plans to release  the old unseen film. Like Gupta, he too was fighting a court case. Completed in 1983, the film has since been languishing in the cans. Before Chor Mandali, Raj Kapoor and Ashok Kumar had only worked in one film together Bewafa in 1952— in which Kapoor played a negative role.
