Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka and remained normal over interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.0 deg Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Farmers forecast valid until the morning of Tuesday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of coastal Karnataka; at a few places over all the districts of south interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of north interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
