Two old women, who were waiting to board a bus, were robbed of her jewels under the pretext of dropping her near her village.
The old women have been identified as Dodamma (65) of Gudemaranahalli and her sister Lakshmamma (60) of Sugganahalli.
They both were waiting at the Kunigal bus stop to head towards their sister Honnamma’s  home in Ippadi.
 An unidentified woman of 25 yrs old befriended them and told that she too was heading towards Ippadi. She assured them that she would drop them both safely at their destination in her vehicle. However, she asked the two women to get down at Munnajungli forest area near Herohalli Gate and robbed them of their jewels.
However, later with the help of pedestrians they both reached the Kunigal Police Station and filed a complaint.
