Mahindra Lifespaces partners with Ayala 

Mahindra Residential Developers Ltd (MRDL), a subsidiary of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (MLDL), on Monday, signed a joint venture agreement with private equity real estate fund ARCH Capital Asian Partners L P, managed by ARCH Capital Management Company Ltd, for residential development. The JV will undertake the development of a gated residential community in approximately 55 acre within Mahindra Lifespaces’ pioneering SEZ at Mahindra World City, New Chennai.

N F Railway appoints new CPRO

NF Railway recently announced that Sugato Lahiri, an officer of Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME ) of 1991 batch, has taken over charge as Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) from April 18, 2008.

New version of CMC software from SanDisk 

SanDisk Corporation, on Monday, announced version 3.0 of its CMC (Central Management & Control) software for managing SanDisk’s secure Cruzer Enterprise USB flash drives. CMC transforms portable storage into a mobility and productivity asset by giving IT departments a powerful tool for lifecycle management of Cruzer Enterprise drives – including deployment throughout the organisation, password recovery and renewal through the network, central back-up and restore, central usage tracking, and remote termination of lost drives, said a release. With version 3.0, CMC gains additional strength through new features that include: Application distribution, License management, Streamlined deployment and user provisioning.

Sales and marketing summit to start in City

Sales and Marketing Executive International (SMEI), on Monday, announced  that its first summit would take place in the Bangalore and Mumbai on April 23 and 25 respectively. The summit will focus on innovative branding efforts, effective ways to create new customer chains, latest customer retention strategies, sales and demand generation strategies among other topics.

Accenture & ISB launch new Academy in India

Accenture and the Indian School of Business (ISB), on Monday, launched the Accenture Management Development Academy in India, an online classroom and on-the-job training programme designed to develop and nurture leaders from Accenture’s mid-level management in India. The academy is a career-development opportunity for Accenture employees.
