Addressing press persons here on Wednesday on the eve of the launching of the organisation’s annual theme “Experiencing God’s Power,” the Vishwa Vidyalaya Education Wing Vice Chairman Brahmakumar Mruthyunjaya said the project would be launched in June, according to which all Brahmakumaris would develop plantations in their residence premises with a goal of controlling global warming.
Besides this project, the varsity is also going to launch ‘Clean the Mind’ project worldwide, as per which programmes will be conducted towards reducing tension among people. Self-empowerment programmes will be undertaken in about 18,000 colleges and one lakh schools to show how to develop human values among the younger generation, he explained.
Targeting about one lakh school children, the organisation will also conduct “Touch the Light” programme in order to enhance spiritual power among the younger ones, he added.
Theme launch
The Vishwa Vidyalaya media co-ordinator Brahmakumar Karunaji said the organisation additional administrative head Dadi Hridaya Mohiniji had arrived in Mangalore on Wednesday, who would launch the year’s theme “Experiencing God’s Power” at the Brahma Kumaris Vishwa Shanthi Mandir in Urvastores on April 24.
Dadi Hridaya Mohiniji has already launched the theme in Calicut and Kannur, and she is launching it here for the first time in Karnataka, he said, adding that Dadi would advise people to give importance to meditation in order to get solutions to all the problems around them.
