Since the commencement of the underpass work near the High Ground Police Station (old), the movement of traffic on Miller Road, Vasanthnagar has touched its nadir. It is hazardous for pedestrians crossing the road at the junction of Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital and Vasanthnagar entrance. People constantly cross this junction to avail the services of the hospital and therefore it is high time the traffic police installed a signal light to avoid inconvenience caused  to the public.

Bad roads

Vidyaranyapura Layout was formed 20 years ago and covers vast areas like BEL, HMT, NTI, Defence, AMS, Shrinidhi and many other layouts, apart form M S Palya, Doddabommasandra, Thindlu etc. The following roads need immediate repairs/attention:

* Main bus route No. 276, A, E, H, 401 B, K, R etc from Vidyaranyapura new bus stand to Nagaland Circle through Dodda Bommasandra. We are happy to note now some widening work is being carried out at snails pace.
* BEL Ist block to BEL Market through Ramachandrapura.
* Vidyaranyapura to Jelly Factory where Bus Nos 401 B, K, R ply.
* From HMT Ist block to Nanjappa bus stop passing through IEHCS (Industrial Employees Housing Co- Operative Society). Jnaneshwary, Sapthagiri, Gurudarshan, Venkataswamappa etc Layouts.
* V R Pura Eechalamara bus stop (Ragam Bakery) to M S Palya.
* Crossroad from V R Pura Post Office to Thindlu. In short not a single road in and around V R Pura is in good condition.

It is also pitiable to note road cuttings in all layouts have not been filled up since many years.
Residents are bearing the jerks wherever they drive. I request the authorities concerned to wake up and repair the above on a war footing.
