A Lebanon experience awaits you at The Leela Palace Kempinski. Two gourmet chefs from the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates have been flown down from Dubai to present the authentic Lebanese cuisine at the 10-day long Lebanese food festival.
Make-over session
A make-over session has been done for Citrus with a mock Arabic camp set-up. It has Arabic tents and low seating that is synonymous to Arabia along with Sisha (the famous Arabic water pipe) in a variety of flavours like apple, strawberry, mint, apricot, cardamom, cappuccino, red cherry and the live Arabic music put together with the delectable delicacies.
Lebanese food effortlessly merges the sophistication of European cuisine with the excitement of eastern spices.
Dishes
Yoghurt, cheese, cucumber, aubergines, chick peas, nuts, tomatoes, burghul and sesame (seeds, paste and oil) are harmoniously blended into numerous assorted medleys. Parsley and mint are used in vast quantities as are lemons, onions and garlic. The Kempinski chefs would present a special menu consisting of a variety of the world famous Mezze, a live Shawarma station and dishes like the Samka Harra (Hammour stew with spicy tomato and coriander), Moussakan (lamb with onion and sumac sauce) and Kofta bin seniah to name a few. The festival will be on till April 27 from 7 pm to 10.30 pm.
