I PUC applications to be issued from April 28

The application forms for First Year Pre University will be available at government, government aided, unaided and private colleges from April 28 onwards.


A press release from the Department of Pre-University Education stated that the institutions should not make it mandatory for students to  buy the prospectus of college. Prospectus and application forms should be issued in two different counters.

As per the government order of 2004, the government, aided, unaided and private colleges will have to price the application form and should not increase the cost of the application.

All the details, like the courses offered, fee structure, faculty, administration information, infrastructure and other relevant details will have to be updated in the college website, for the benefit of the students, stated the press release.

Induction

The Department of Pre-University Education will conduct a ten-day induction training programme for the newly recruited 479  Pre-University lecturers across the state. The induction programme will be conducted on working days in three sessions without interspersing with the elections programme. The training programme will begin at 9 am on the scheduled dates across the state.

The Training Session for lecturers from Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Tumkur will held from May 14 to 23, in NMKRV Degree College, Jayanagar 3rd Block, Bangalore.

The Training Session for lecturers from Mandya and Ramanagara will be held  from May 14 to 23 at the Government Degree College, Stone Building, Mandya.

The Training Session for Lecturer from Mysore, Hassan, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar from May 14 to 23,  St Philomena’s Degree College, Hosabanni  Mantapa Extension, Mysore.

The training session for Lecturer Raichur, Koppal, Davangere, Chitradurga, North Canara,  Shimoga, South Canara, Udupi, Chikkamagalur,  May 19 to 28 in STG Samyukta Degree College Mantap, Davangere,
The Training session for Lecturer, Belagavi, Bagalkot,  Bijapur, Gulbarga, Bidar, Dharwad, Haveri, May 30 to June 8 at SDM Science Pre University College, Dharwad.
