A police team led by sub divisional officer and election officer Tulasimadineni raided a pump-house near Muddainapalya in the taluk on Wednesday night based on definite information and seized illegally stored whisky worth Rs 4 lakh.
Inspector Manjunathbabu and sub inspector Anjinappa and staff raided the place around 11 pm and recovered the illegally stored liquor.
A case has been registered against pump-house owner Mahesh, inspector Manjunathbabu told Deccan Herald.
