Lime and lemony

For Summer, there is nothing better than a cool cool drink. There are plenty of them available. And it’s all in your kitchen. You don’t have to worry where the water comes from. Here are some of the recipes. For mint-flavoured lemonade, fill a large jug with water, add mint and one to two slices of lemon.Cool it and drink. The same can be done with watermelons as well. You can add some ginger too.Try combining other fruits as well.

When you are making herbal tea, make it strong, pour it over ice in a jug and chill it. For Jal Jeera, make a paste out of mint leaves. Take four cups of water, add salt, two tspns roasted cumin powder, 1 tspn garam masala, a pinch of salt, a pinch of red chilli powder, 1 tspn amchoor powder and juice of a lemon. Add ice cubes and serve.
Yet another easy to make drink is the Badam Milk Shake. Here’s the recipe for one.

Ingredients

1 cup badam
3 cups milk
2 cups of water
1 cup
yogurt
1 Cup sugar
Cinnamon to your taste

Procedure:
• Grind badam, cinnamon and sugar, all together. Grind milk and curd along with it, pour some water and make it thin. Your milk shake is now ready to be consumed.
