Austrian kids to fly back home
Thiruvananthapuram, DHNS:
David, Sultan and Jasmin, the three teenaged children who were found abandoned by their Austrian mother at a house in Kottayam two weeks ago will now fly back to Vienna to be with their Keralite father!

A juvenile court in Kottayam has passed the necessary orders after recording statements from the relatives of Abdul Najeeb, the children’s father who hails from Kozhikode, as well as representatives of the Austrian Embassy. As reported earlier, the children’s mother Judith who teaches German at a school in Kottayam was accused by the children of abandoning them in a house for weeks together. The children alleged that their mother ill-treated them and even deprived them of food.

Najeeb who is employed as a male nurse in Vienna is separated from Judith.

Judith had landed in Kottayam with the children in July last year after the divorce. It was an email from the children to the embassy about their plight early this month which helped the local police to locate them.

Judith, who landed in Kottayam after the divorce, has been living with another man and had accused the children of plotting to return to Vienna. “We don’t want to go with our mother. She is worse than our estranged father,’’ the children had told the magistrate when they were produced before him.
