Suicide bid over issue of ticket

Bidar, dhns: In a vain bid, Atiraj (18) of the District Christian Community attempted suicide by self -immolation. The organisation was protesting in front of the Congress part office in the City on Saturday when the incident occurred.

Charging that the Congress party had not given the community adequate representation, the protesters were demanding that the party ticket be given to Das Suryavanshi who belongs to the community

 During this time Aithraj doused himself with kerosene and tried to set fire. However the police at the venue intervened and managed to avert a tragedy. A case has been registered against him for attempted suicide.
