Three times legislator and former revenue minister Jagadish Shettar, who has filed his nomination from Hubli-Dharwad Central constituency, is worth Rs 1.32 crore.
According to Shettar he has Rs one crore worth movable and immovable property and Rs 32 lakh worth assets belonging to his wife, Shilpa Shettar and children, Prashanth and Sankalp. He owns a site measuring 3,658 sq ft at Keshwapur in Hubli and 370 sq ft site in Bangalore, both valued at Rs 45.5 lakh. He owns a commercial shop “Madhura Plaza’ in Hubli which costs Rs 4.3 lakh and a site measuring 6500 sq ft at Madhura Estate in Hubli, valued at Rs 29 lakh.
The BJP leader’s family has a cash of Rs 2.75 lakh deposit at the Hubli Urban Co-Operative Bank and Bangalore’s Apex Bank; Rs 2.43 lakh in his wife name and Rs 8.03 lakh in his son Prashanth’s name. While Shettar has shares of Rs 1.70 lakh, his wife has the shares worth Rs 5,000. Besides, he got an insurance bond of Rs 1.84 lakh in his name, Rs 9.25 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh insurance bond in his wife and son’s name respectively.
He has Tata Indigo car worth Rs 5 lakh and a bike by his son valued at Rs 70,000. Mr Shettar has 600 gram gold, Shilpa has 700 gram gold and his two children has 10 gram gold each. All these put together it is valued at Rs 16.13 lakh.
