Subbaiah flays BKC

Former legislator and well known Advocate A K Subbaiah has appealed to Governor Rameshwar Thakur to intervene and ensure that Legislative Council Chairman B K Chandrashekhar passes an order “on the merit” in his petition seeking the disqualification of Arun Machaiah from the membership of the Council.

Subbaiah filed a petition on July  2007,  seeking the disqualification of Arun Machaiah following his joining the JD(S). He was elected to the Council from the local authority’s constituency as an independent candidate. The term of office of Machaiah ended some time ago.
