Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has always emphasised on the social equality in the district and has accordingly fielded its candidates in the six assembly constituency, said BSP district unit General Secretary Nagnal Muniyappa.
BSP from its initial days has always believed in the welfare of the masses, said Muniyappa who said that Mayavati, after becoming the chief minister of the Uttar Pradesh has taken steps to unify the broken society.
He said that Mayavati is determined to bring the virtues of the constitution in to force and thereby unite people of all section in order to bring a social equality.
He said that It is in this context that Maarsandra Muniyappa has been appointed as the BSP state president and party is being run under the guidance of PGR Sindia, national general secretary of the party.
Opportunity
The party is promoting leaders from all the sections of the society in Kolar Lok Sabha constituency (which comprises of eight constituencies) keeping in mind the social equality, expressed Muniyappa who said that it is with this view that Sayed Sajjad in Kolar (Muslim), R S Kumar in Malur (Brahmin), G K Nagendra in Bangarpet (Right hand), M Sridhar in KGF (Bhovi) H Narayanappa, an ex-soldier in Mulbagal (Right hand), V Manjunath Gowda in Srinivaspur (Vokkaliga), N Muniswamy in Chintamani ( Left hand) and Rajendra in Shidlaghatta (Vokkaliga) have been given an opportunity in the party.
