Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Karkala (Udupi dt), Srirangapatna, Pandavapura (both Mandya dt) 1 each. Maximum Temperatures fell at most places, being appreciably so at many places over South Interior Karnataka; fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were below normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka, however above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.5 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Thursday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over districts of Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.
