Foresees inflation rising further in 2009-10
India GDP growth to sag at 8%, says ADB  
Asian Development Bank, on Wednesday, projected Indian economic growth to moderate 8 per cent this fiscal from 8.7 per cent in 2007-08.
BEML logs Rs 3,500 cr sales  
BEML Limited, on Wednesday, announced it has achieved a turnover of Rs 3,005 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008, registering a 15.5 per cent growth against Rs 2,601.79 crore in the previous fiscal.
Govt will check inflation: Montek  
The government is handling the rise in prices of essential commodities in a right manner and will be able to contain inflation, Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia said here on Wednesday.
