Atrocities against Kannadigas

There is a need for a united effort to campaign against the atrocities against Kannadigas by people of other linguistic factions in border districts, KGF Home Guards Commandant Purushottam said here.

Purushottam who participated in the monthly pooja programme organised by Bangarpet Kannada Sangha he said that people of other linguistic groups oppressed Kannadigas because there was lack of  unity among the Kannadigas.
He warned that there was a danger to the State if the Kannadigas do not unite themselves.
Language
He lauded the creative efforts of Bangarpet Kannada Sangha which had earned it statewide attention. When it comes to the issues of language, land and water of the State Kannada Sangha should give guidance to the people, he added.
Kannada Sangha President Pallavi Mani, who presided over the function said that work on the Kannada Bhavan will begin next month.
