Roger Federer says young people seem to be following the U S presidential race this year - and that includes him.

“I was following it more actually when I was in Switzerland and not playing,” Federer said at the Sony Ericsson Open yesterday. “Now, in America, I don’t know, it’s almost too much of it.” Federer, however,  did not identify his favorite candidate.

Jeev paired with Ferrie, Freeman

Jeev Milkha Singh had been paired with Englishman Kenneth Ferrie and American Cody Freeman for the first two rounds of the US$ 5.6 million Houston Open which begins at the Redstone Golf Club on Thursday, reports PTI from Houston.

Besides, the field will also include two-time champion Stuart Appleby, who finished runner-up in 2007.

Aussies tour of Pak next year

After postponing their Pakistan tour due to fears over security, Australia is set to visit the troubled South Asian country next year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed, reports UNI from Lahore.
