Federer tracking US Prez race
Roger Federer says young people seem to be following the U S presidential race this year - and that includes him.
“I was following it more actually when I was in Switzerland and not playing,” Federer said at the Sony Ericsson Open yesterday. “Now, in America, I don’t know, it’s almost too much of it.” Federer, however, did not identify his favorite candidate.
Jeev paired with Ferrie, Freeman
Jeev Milkha Singh had been paired with Englishman Kenneth Ferrie and American Cody Freeman for the first two rounds of the US$ 5.6 million Houston Open which begins at the Redstone Golf Club on Thursday, reports PTI from Houston.

After postponing their Pakistan tour due to fears over security, Australia is set to visit the troubled South Asian country next year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed, reports UNI from Lahore.
‘’I was supposed to visit Australia to discuss this issue but now there is no need to go there as I had very productive talks with the Cricket Australia (CA) authorities, who have shown keenness and confirmed their team’s tour next year,’’ PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf told The Post.

FA charge Ferguson
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and assistant Carlos Queiroz were charged by the Football Association on Wednesday with improper conduct over comments made about referees, reports AP from London.
Both men were angry after Manchester United lost to Portsmouth 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup on March 8. Ferguson’s charges relate to comments about referee Martin Atkinson and Keith Hackett, the Professional Game Match Officials’ general manager.
