Bangalore-based Emmosys Technologies, a technology solutions company, has recently launched a comparative price engine ‘Pricesbolo.com’. The portal enables consumers to compare and find the best deals on consumer electronics from thousands of merchants spread across Bangalore and Chennai.

According to Parthiban T S, Managing Director of the company, the basic idea is to avoid the hassles and problems of window shopping for buyers. “Pricesbolo.com is a platform to bring the merchants and the consumer closer in a cost-effective manner.”

A lot of research was done before launching Pricesbolo.com and it was found that people with a time crunch found it far easier to compare gadgets and read reviews before making a decision to buy a product. An online portal was the preferred medium among many, and this is how they went ahead with their decision.

This site lists more than 2,200 merchant outlets across Chennai and Bangalore. In addition to this, the site also provides a free national SMS service to the registered users of Pricesbolo.com.

When asked how Pricesbolo.com will benefit merchants, Pathiban says that it will not change the way the merchants conduct their business but instead will create an online platform to showcase their products.
