Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Nelamangala 6; Bandipura 4; Pandavapura 3; H D Kote, Tiptur 2 each; Hallimysore, Hessarghatta 1 each. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably below normal at most places over Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka. Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35.1 Celsius over the State.
