According to sources the Central Committee of the BJP will meet in Delhi on Thursday and ratify the list prepared by the State committee. The list would be made public in Delhi itself.

MLCs Shobha Karandlaje, Aravind Limbavali are keen on contesting for assembly seats. They have decided to fight for assembly segments thinking that it would be easier for them to get ministership being MLAs rather than being MLCs, if the party comes to power. If they continue as MLCs they have to compete against former ministers and senior MLCs for ministerial berth.
