Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Hubli (Dharwad dt); Belgaum AP, Gulbarga 2 each; Hukkeri (Belgaum dt), Nagathan (Bijapur dt), Saigoan (Bidar dt), Bijapur 1 each. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were Andhra Pradesh, below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka. Haveri recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35.4 Celsius over the State.
