"For example, Osiris, the great Egyptian God deals with wisdom, justice, integrity, stability and responsibility. Horus offers courage, Toth enhances knowledge, Ptah improves skill and dexterity, Buckle of Isis resolves gynaecological problems, Bast brings joy and dispels gloom and Hathor grants boons of beauty, love and so on.

So many things have found their way back to their owners by using his rays." So enamoured and impressed by him was Usha that she carted a wooden structure of Anubis mounted on a sacrophagus all the way from Cairo!
Usha has been greatly influenced and inspired by books of Murry Hope, a famous occultist who has popularised this form in her writings and a book called 'The Way of Cartouche—an Oracle of Ancient Egyptian Magic' (available for purchase on the net).
