Full service carrier Jet Airways on Thursday announced the launch of a new flight linking Delhi with Toronto via Brussels, five times a week from September 5.
Jet will press into service Airbus 330-200 aircraft for the new operations, which is coming soon after the Mumbai-Brussels- New York (Newark) flight launched Sunday last.
This Delhi-Brussels-Toronto flight will also give Jet passengers an opportunity to connect New York (Newark) via its European hub Brussels. At Brussels, flights will be synchronised in order to provide passengers seamless transfer access between Delhi and Newark, and Mumbai and Toronto.
As part of its inaugural offer, the airline has introduced a special economy class return airfare of Rs 35,000 and premier return fare starting from Rs 1.57 lakh excluding taxes. Economy class special fare is valid for travel until October 31, 2007 and tickets can be purchased till August 31.
Jet airline has specially configured the international flight operations with 320 seats in premier class and 190 in economy class. This next generation aircraft promises to offer an international experience in the two classes with a wide choice of inflight entertainment, Jet executive director Saroj Datta said at a press conference here.
