The seven foetuses, which were dumped in Jakkarayanakere in Seshadripuram on August 5 have been reportedly traced to some maternity/nursing homes in Malleswaram and Kumara Park area.

“The police have got some clues based on the batch numbers on the empty saline bottles found along with the foetus. They have zeroed in on 12 nursing homes from these areas. The investigation is on. They should give me the report by early next week,” Minister for Health, R Ashok, told Deccan Herald.

He said he would not spare the culprits. “It’s a criminal offence and we will not leave them,” said Mr Ashok.
Along with the empty saline jars, there were empty bottles of anaesthetic drugs, used during surgeries. All of them contain batch numbers, details of the manufacturers, manufacturing and expiry details of the drugs.
