The City received 10.08 mm of rain on Tuesday. Showers, which started in the evening, continued well into the night causing temperatures to dip.

Officials from Meteorological Department said with the south-west monsoon having covered the State, the City would remain generally cloudy and receive spells of light rain towards evening/night on Wednesday too.
