Release of water demanded

Tumkur, dhns: Rapid action has to be taken for the release of hemavati water to Mallasandra tank, demanded  taluk panchayat vice president Mallasandra Rajanna to the Hemavathi canal officials.

Mallasandra tank has a geographical area of 900 acres and nearly 2,000 acres of irrigation regions are dependent upon the tank.

Every year, tank has been deprived of water which has resulted in the destruction of crops, he added.
He has urged the concerned authorities to release water early to the tank.

Lecture on dental sciences

Tumkur, dhns: A lecture on the ‘recent developments in dental sciences’ by Oral surgeon Dr Girish V Bharadwaj has been organised by the Rotary organisation on Wednesday, said Rotary president Shivashankar Kadadevaramata. The lecture will be delivered by Dr Girish V Bharadwaj who hails from Karnataka and is currently anOral Surgeon in England.

Dr Girish is a dental expert who hails from Karnataka and is currently an Oral Surgeon who has been working in  England.  Mr Kadadevaramata has requested the public to attend the programme and get benefits.
