Aerial Inspection Plan Ready
London, July 31
US Secretary of State Dulles and the Western delegates have now agreed on a plan for mutual aerial inspection of parts of Europe, the Soviet Union, the US and the Arctic region.
They have also worked on ground inspection plans, which are not yet complete.
Mr Dulles today conferred with Soviet delegate Zorin to the disarmament talks in an intensive bid to break the deadlock. The two met at the residence of American ambassador Whiteny, which was also attended by top advisers.
Shortages, Rising Prices Temporary

The Second Plan is not overambhious, the exchange difficulties, are temporary and if there are mistakes in excess imports of heavy machinery equipment that would only a few sectors developing faster and some others lagging behind for a time which need not lead to criticism of the Plan, said Prof Mahalanobis today.

Rs 8 Cr For Jobs To Farmers

The State Government had allocated Rs eight crores for expediting the works under the National Rural Employment Programme in drought affected areas in the State, Revenue Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge told the Assembly today.
In a statement reviewing the seasional conditions in all the districts the Minister said field officers in the affected districts had been instructed to speed up the works for providing employment to the needy agriculturists.
