“Transfer of power from JD(S) to BJP is next to impossible,” said former minister P G R Sindhia.
During his visit to Harangi reserviour on Thursday, Mr Sindhia speaking to the reporters said that the entire State is waiting for October 3 as it is the day, CM H D Kumaraswamy is supposed to hand over the charge to BJP. “BJP’s coalition partner does not seem to be interested in acting per the conditions of coalition government.
Even if JD(S) hands over the post to BJP, there are all possibilities of JD(S) staging a political drama to pull down the government within two month. Hence, elections in a few months would not be surprising at all,” he said.
He opined that the present political scenes in the State is chaotic as the elections in 2004 too did not give a clear majority to any party. At the same time the coalition parties over the last 40 months have displayed their mutual distrust clearly to people. He said that there is a need that people bring one single party victorious with majority votes in next elections.
About his own political career, he said that he only wants a good and efficient government to come into power in the State.
