Police have recovered a grenade on Saturday from the vicinity of the recent police encounter at Ammadlu.

According to the police, the grenade was buried near the house of Ramegoudlu - Kaveramma couple’s house who were killed in the encounter.

ASP Phaninder said the grenade was powerful and locked. The police suspect that the grenade would have been buried by the naxals. It has been kept safely in Balehonnur police station.
