A rowdy from Bangalore was brutally murdered in a private hotel on Monday morning.
The deceased is identified as Munavar (25). Police have arrested Ramesh and Uyaz in this connection. Other two suspects Afzal and Jafar are absconding and search is on to nab them.
Fight between two rivals gangs, headed by John and Tarkari Khaleel, from Bangalore is said to be the cause for murder. John is currently housed in Bellary jail in connection with the murder of Congress leader Selvaraj.
Tarkari Khaleel is also convicted under the Gunda Act and is also in the same jail. Munavar belonged to Khaleel’s gang. He also had friendship with John. Munavar kept pestering John’s associates for money, which led to the murder, police sources said.
John’s associates Uyaz, Ramesh, Afzal, Jafar and other two arrived at Bellary on Sunday to visit John. They got into a fight and murdered Munavar. A case has been registered in the Bruce pet police station.
